Dentsply Sirona Axeos
The most versatile 2D/3D unit with a big field of view and outstanding image quality for practices with a wide treatment spectrum. Developed together with dentists and clinicians, Axeos provides the fullest range of functions out of all Dentsply Sirona extraoral X-ray machines.
Dentsply Sirona offers two technologically advanced extraoral CBCT systems for diagnosis and evaluation. The Orthophos and our most advanced system, the Axeos. These systems have been developed in collaboration with dentists to support a full range of indications. The Orthophos offers two CBCT models. The Orthophos S8 and the Orthophos S11. The Orthophos S8 is ideal for general practitioners requiring small to mid-size volumes. This unit can acquire a 5×5 cm and an 8×8 cm volume size. The Orthophos S11 can acquire up to an 11×10 cm volume for imaging the entire dentition, including the wisdom teeth and airway. Advanced clinicians will gravitate to the Axeos system. This 2D/3D unit is the winner of Germany’s distinguished Red Dot Design and Innovation award in 2020. The Axeos offers advanced Direct Conversion Sensor (DCS) and autofocus technology for exceptional panoramic images. All DS CBCT X-ray systems provide the same excellent image quality and resolution settings from 80µm HD resolution to Intelligent Low-Dose for dose-sensitive patients and when fine detail is not required.
